Good to Mama: Lasagna Love

One day, standing in my kitchen with my 1 and 3 year olds, I was feeling completely helpless. So I started cooking. Since I had extra ingredients, I posted in a few moms groups to see if anyone struggling as a result of the coronavirus pandemic would like a lasagna delivered. 

That week I delivered seven lasagnas.

This week we've delivered over 5000 lasagnas, and are now delivering 1000 meals a week.

We've grown to 47 states, with over 2500 Lasagna Mamas making and delivering lasagnas to families in need. Every day we have more families signing up who need help, and more Lasagna Mamas volunteering to cook.

The first $10,000 of this campaign went to our grocery fund so that now and in the coming months, we can reimburse Lasagna Mamas who want to help their communities, but can't afford the ingredients. The second $10,000 went to build a new back end system to keep up with the demand from families who need help. We're now raising $30,000 to dramatically improve our day to day operations, so that we can reach even more families.
