Good Samaritan Assaulted by Repeat Criminal

Katie and Ashley, Greg's daughters, have set up a GoFundMe to help their dad with medical-related expenses due to the horrific tragedy that occurred on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Unfortunately, Greg was in the wrong place at the wrong time and has suffered tremendously from this incident. Greg noticed the attacker acting suspiciously by going door to door at the hotel. Noticing the car the attacker drove up in, he decided to write down the license plate to report the suspicious activity to the police. Shortly after Greg returned to his room, the attacker forced his way in. Greg was viciously attacked and assaulted. Greg sustained seven wounds from the assault – a stab wound to each bicep, a stab wound to the chest penetrating a lung, a stab wound to his back, a deep slashing wound around the front and back of his neck, and multiple stab wounds to the face. Greg was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The medical professionals detail that he died but was resuscitated upon arrival at the hospital. Greg has undergone multiple surgeries over the past several days to help him survive this horrific attack. He remains on life support and continues to fight for his life.
