Good Karma Bikes needs Good Karma

Tax deductible

Good Karma bikes needs some good karma.

Two weeks ago, Good Karma Bikes was burglarized and, as CEO Jim Gardner said, "this one hurts; it’s the worst one yet".

It hurts because Good Karma was in the process of repairing bikes for customers, and those were stolen along with inventory, tools, and merchandise valued at $20,000.

Changing lives through the medium of bikes is Good Karma's mission.  The shop helps the homeless and at-risk individuals build skills and offers transitional employment to community members in-need.  As a positive contributor to our community for over 11 years, sadly, they have been burglarized well-over 20 times.

Good Karma is making a difference in our community.  Over their many years as a social enterprise, they have made over 200,000 bicycle repairs, helped nearly 30,000 people repair their own bikes, given away 3,500 bikes to homeless people and kids and offered more than 750 free clinics in bicycle repair.  Good Karma is well-loved in this community, positively impacting so many of us.

We are fundraising to pay for a high-grade ADT security system, motion-activated camera system, and to help Jim rebuild and recoup the cost of lost sales which directly fund his impactful programs.  We need your help.

Make a contribution and spread the word. Let’s keep good karma in our community!
