As an African and Native Indian American, my people and I have endured atrocities of racism in the United States of America since 1619. The urgency is now for people of all colors, countries and cultures to heal the trauma of racism internally and to externally stop institutional and systemic violence against African Americans,
Native Indians and other oppressed peoples today and for future generations.
WHO I AM!
I, DEIRDRE DENISE MCCLAIN, am the C.E.O of "DECONSTRUCTING RACISM - CONSTRUCTING AGAPE ARTS MINISTRY! Through my inspiring new, pioneering artistic initiative, people's hearts are transformed, enriched and liberated by the SOVEREIGN TRINITY. Participants encounter embodied storytelling, the creative arts, prayer, non-judgmental dialogue, small discussion groups, performance, and theoretical and practical engagement.
For more than 35 years, I have enthusiastically and faithfully equipped, educated and empowered people to break the cycle of trauma, to heal their heart wounds and to celebrate their divine worth, beauty and image through the HEAVENLY FATHER, LORD JESUS CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT.
