Tim’s Cancer Battle #TCB
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tim. I’m a husband, father, brother, son and more. Recently, I’ve been diagnosed with cancer. I’ve had 2 surgeries so far with 2 more on the horizon. In between, I’m doing chemotherapy. As a result of the surgeries, I’ve missed close to a month of work already. The chemotherapy sessions last the entire day. The medical bills are piling up and I fear so will others. When I’m unable to work, I don’t earn any income. I have no paid time off, no sick leave. I’m asking for your help. We are trying to stay ahead of things but it’s tough. One of the most inspirational speeches, which resonated with me long before my diagnosis, was from Jim Valvano. In 1993, while battling cancer, he gave a speech at the ESPY’s. In it he said, “never give up”. That is exactly what I’m going to do. I’m going to fight this with everything I have. In an effort to help others, I’m going to donate 10% of the donations to the V foundation, which is the cancer research foundation set up by Jim Valvano. I promise you that good will come of this! Please share this with everyone you can. If you take the first letter of each word of my page, Tim’s Cancer Battle, you get TCB. Short for taking care of business! #TCB
