Medical Volunteerism in Nicaragua
Just a few more months of nursing school left and I can get my head out of the books and start living the dream!
This summer I would like to spend some time serving others, and in the process celebrating the gift of finding this career. I am so lucky to have this nascent excitement for the lives I am privileged enough to care for and be a part of, and those yet to come.
I will be going on a trip to Nicaragua with about 20 of my classmates in conjunction with an organization called Global Medical Training. We will be providing free medical and dental services to under-served communities in Nicaragua, hosting vaccine and health clinics, and hopefully forming life long memories and bonds. With this amazing opportunity I will be able to participate in hands-on diagnosis and treatment with medical professionals.
Any help to make this trip possible would mean so much to me! <3
Here's what you are helping me fund:
1250$ cost of the trip
700$ cost of airfare
Thank you all so much for your support, I am so excited for this amazing opportunity!
