Glover Park PorchFest Kick Off Fund

Help raise funds to kick off Glover Park's First PorchFest. June 19 2021

In a year of reemergence and recovery, let's feed our souls with music and show our great Glover Park community spirit! We want to kick off the FIRST Glover Park PorchFest with our neighborhood's favorite: Crush Funk Brass Band but we need a little help to make that happen!

WHAT: This free neighborhood-wide live music event will feature bands/solo performances hosted on porches throughout Glover Park The event will celebrate the arts and our community. This low-key event is inspired by pandemic porch performances and other PorchFest events in DC.  A map will created to provide a guide to locations, much like Glover Park's Art Walk.

Crush Funk will provide the kick-off music at Stoddert Elementary at 4PM, thereafter volunteer performances will be held throughout the neighborhood with the final performance at 7:30ishPM at 39th and W. Portions of performances will be hosted on FaceBook Live or YouTube for those who wish to remain virtual. Stay tuned to GPCA.org for the latest.
