Gloria's Mexico home rebuild fund

Hi, my name is Lauren Rico Powell.  This go fund me page is set up on behalf of the Rico Family from La Crescenta, Ca.  in hopes to raise enough money so that Gloria can start to rebuild her home that was destroyed by the earthquake in Mexico.

Gloria is a very special person to our family.  We have known Gloria for 32 years and as most of you know she is the most loving and generous person.  She spent most of her adult life caring for children and that is exactly what she did for us.  Gloria is family to us.  She cared for my brother and I as though we were her own.

I am sure many of you know of the horrific earthquake in Mexico.  We thank God that Gloria was not there and her family is all safe.   Gloria's home in Puebla, Mexico was destroyed.  She has spent her life here working towards the day when she could retire to this home.   In recent months she has been getting everything in order with the plan of retiring to this home in the next few months.  With this devastating event, all her future plans have been derailed. 

We are hoping to raise some money to help her get started on a plan to rebuild.  Any amount will be appreciated.  Thank you for your kindness.
