Global Hands for Ukraine

My name is Armaan Gupta. I am a junior in high school. My dad, Vikram Gupta, is a family medicine doctor in New Jersey. He lived in Ukraine for several years and has many fond memories of the caring and loving people of Ukraine. It has been heart-wrenching to watch the devastation the war has caused. While many are staying in Ukraine to defend their country, others have been forced to flee for the safety of their children and loved ones to Poland and other countries.
My dad was recently able to connect with a friend from Ukraine. His friend was able to flee the country with his ailing mother, wife, and two small children. They left without anything, just the clothes on their back.
I asked my dad if we could help the refugees fleeing Ukraine. After thinking about it, we decided - Yes, we can! So, my dad, his medical students Janell Wright and Tina Kana and some of his office staff developed Global Hands for Ukraine, a diverse group of individuals going to Poland to support the Ukrainian refugees. Upon arriving, we plan to offer our support in any needed manner, including medical expertise, providing clothes, food, and emotional support.
We are asking for your support in raising money to help families in need during this crisis. All funds raised will provide direct relief to Ukrainian Refugees in Poland. Please help us meet and exceed our goal so that we can help as many displaced families as possible.
