Hi! I will be travelling with Global Autism Project in October 2022 to Chandigarh, India along with a team of other professionals.

There are 70 million people in the world with autism and 85% of them living in developing countries. Our partner sites not only provide a safe place for children to gain an education within their community, but are also doing the work to break the stigma of what it means to be autistic!

SkillCorps team members travel to Global Autism Project partner sites all over the world! SkillCorps teams are made up of skilled professionals and autistic self-advocates working in the field of autism education. Our teams are trained and prepared to support educators, leaders, parents, and advocates working in their own communities.

As a SkillCorps member, I will travel to a Global Autism Project partner site with a team of professionally diverse colleagues for two weeks - where we will work alongside local educators, advocates, and leaders to execute a project from start to finish!

Donations are used to create locally-led parent support groups - to training teachers in inclusive classroom practices. Our team will work with the local change-makers to ensure our work is sustainable and scalable.
