Glenn Kelley is a wonderful person who loves fishing, oldies music, and getting together with friends and family. He has a wife (Lura) and two children (Sean and Cara) who love him very much, as do all of his family and friends.
On June 22nd Glenn wasn’t feeling well and went to his doctor. He was immediately sent to the emergency room and on to ICU. He was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and within hours went into multiple organ failure (heart, kidneys, and liver). He was placed on life support and his family was given very little hope for his recovery. Glenn is a fighter though, and with the prayers of so many plus the great team of doctors and nurses at Memorial Hermann, he is slowly but surely coming back to his family. Although he has a long way to go, he is making small steps toward a recovery. We are hopeful he will soon be off the ventilator and dialysis. Although he is still not able to communicate with us, the signs are positive that he will. He will be in the ICU for a while longer, and then will need to go to a rehab facility. It is unclear if he will ever be able to return to his job as an electrician.
This fund was created to assist with the enormous financial strain which the medical bills, along with his being unable to work will place on his family. Although he has some medical insurance, it will not begin to cover the medical bills which his care and rehabilitation will entail.
We ask that you consider donating any amount you can to help ease this financial burden. Any amount is appreciated. Or, if you can’t donate, your prayers are equally appreciated, and please write a note of encouragement for him and his family.
