My brother Joshua and I have had many blessings and many pitfalls beset us, so we leaned very much on each other. He lived a lot of experiences in his life, visited a lot of places, met a lot of people, and had a very distinct way of touching people's lives.
Everyone that met him and spent any amount of time with him could not forget him. He had a big heart, and it was full of love. He was a very genuine person. He taught me a lot of lessons and I always could be sure he had my back no matter what.
Joshua was not only my brother but also my best friend. He always wanted the best for everyone he cared about. He did his best with what he had in this life. He was a fighter; he never gave up on being a better person everyday even if the circumstances where against him. He had the soul of a lion and the heart of an angel.
His fight ended on Thursday, January 28th at the too soon age of 40. Now he watches out for me and all he loved from another plain. And, although we are left with our hearts in pieces and I am left with half a soul, we know now that he is at rest. We will forever remember Joshua and we will celebrate him in every memory, every moment. And when we meet again, we will embrace him forever.
Because of Joshua's sudden departure I find myself short of the funds necessary to lay him to rest in peace. We must cover funeral services and cremation. Due to weather situations in Massachussets, we need to get as close to the goal as possible in the next 3 days. I will make sure all funds are used for these and any unforeseen expenses.
