More information about Good Samaritans of Garland, Inc.: Good Samaritans of Garland, "Good Sam", envisions a community in which everyone has access to sufficient nutritious food by compassionately providing food assistance for our hungry and food-insecured neighbors. Good Sam was formed in 1983 from an alliance of four Garland faith communities with the purpose of providing centrally-located services for the underserved community at no cost. Food assistance is provided for housed and unhoused (homeless) neighbors without judgement. My name is Harry Stubbs, the founder of Giving is Living, Garland, Texas.
