Giving in Memory of Jeanne LaChance (Campbell)

Our beloved, Jeanne, passed away June 2, 2020.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister,  grandmother, great grandmother, business owner, and friend to many;  she will be greatly missed.  She leaves behind, not only, family and friends, but an important gathering spot for the community at JJ's  Eatery in OOB.  As we all know, Jeanne dedicated her life to JJ's Eatery and impacted many local causes.  There are so many wonderful people that she has touched through her fundraising activities.  My earliest memories with mom fundraising, dates back to 1972 when she created a carnival in our backyard to help Woodfords School for Treatable Children and from there, her fundraising efforts continued throughout the remainder of her life. Her goal has always been to give to others.   We are all devasted by the loss of Jeanne and we want to give mom the celebration she deserves.  Mom never had a lot money, but she had a lot of friends. We want to honor mom's value, "give more than you take and share more than you can".  I am currently asking for donations to help defer the cost of mom's funeral and medical expenses. The devasting effects of COVID are prohibiting us from having the celebration of life we would like to have for mom, so we want to honor mom with this gofundme page and this is our way of giving back to her as she did for so many others.  Obituary will soon be posted at www.athutchins.com.
