Giving Back to Sierra Leone

Hi everyone,
My name is Dylan Torbay and I am 13yrs old. I am traveling with my Mom and 23 doctors to Bo in Sierra Leone, West Africa. While my mom and the doctors are working at the hospital in Bo, I will be teaching 1st and 2nd graders and running basketball clinics. With your support, I'll buy basketballs and other sports gears, and will be shipping some new text books that my school (St. Peter's School, Olney, MD) donated to me. I also hope to buy in Sierra Leone school bags, note books and other needed school supplies to donate to a school in need. I love basketball and I love Math and Science! I am very excited to go on this trip and share my talents, and I know I will be learning a lot from the children I meet, and I hope I can give back just as much. Your support means a lot to me and will help make my trip a success! Hopefully this will also encourage other kids to give back to the global community!
