As most of our family and friends are aware Mum was diagnosed with Cancer in December 2016 and spent Christmas in hospital and unable to do anything as she was only just out of major surgery.
Once surgery was complete we were hopeful that we were through the worst - and then more tradgedy hit.
When attending a Surgery follow up appointment the prognosis we recieved was some of the hardest news to hear, we were told that unfortunately the canceer had spread and it was determined that Mum's situation was Terminal and sadly we were not destined to have a cure - and we are now well aware that our days are numbered.
As tough as this has been, Mum has not been alone through this journey and has her family and friends by her side each and every step of the way.....
BUT for everyone that knows Mum you would know that she has always been the type of person who would give anything to help everybody else and go without if it made someone else's day better and brought a smile to their faces.
Mum has admitted this many times in the last few months when our family and friends have tried to do things for her and she has told us that she is struggling to learn how to receieve instead of giving.
In a recent conversation we had at home with Mum she mentioned that id everything is going to go "Belly Up" as she would call it, that her wish would be for us to take her Grandkids to Australia Zoo and create some amazing memories for the kids to cherish as the grow up and have Photos that they can forever keep.
NOW THIS IS THE PART WHERE I SHOUT OUT FAR AND WIDE FOR YOU ALL TO HELP ME GIVE BACK TO H!!!
Now this is never an easy feat to arrange a trip like this - especially when the Medical Costs have been so high since Christmas time for the mixture of Mums medications.
So i am reaching out to all our family and friends far and wide for some help to make mums wish a possibility.
I would really like to keep this a secret from Mum and make this possible and present this to her for her birthday in October this year - SO DONT TELL H!!!!
I understand that money is tight so I am not asking people to donate huge amounts of money towards this cause but every little bit makes a difference and counts and will in turn get us closer to being able to fulfil Mums wish.
So in advance we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the love and support and any dmall donation that you may be able to provide to help out.
