Giving back in honour of Margot
My wife Hannah and I devastatingly lost our first child Margot on the 27th June, 11 days after birth. She was deprived of oxygen during labour and suffered significant irreversible brain damage known as severe hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE). After spending 9 days in NICU she was transferred to child palliative care and passed away 2 days later. During this incredibly difficult time we were supported by some of the most incredible charities. We would like to give back to these charities in honour of Margot and to support other families that may experience this horrific journey in future.
We have provided below some information about each of the charities we would like to donate to. 80% of the proceeds will go to Hummingbird House and the other 20% will be split between Heartfelt and Precious Wings.
Hummingbird House - Hummingbird House delivers best practice paediatric palliative care for children affected by life-limiting conditions and their families. It provides access to short break stays, family support services, creative therapies, and care at the end of life, and works to meet the needs of each individual child and their family.

Heartfelt Photographers – Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families who have experienced stillbirth or have children with serious or life threatening illness.
Precious Wings - Provide Queensland hospitals with memory boxes to give to families whose babies or children pass away from any cause from 16 weeks gestation up to 18 years of age, by enabling bereaved parents to create their own boxes in memory of their own child.
