Solar Lanterns for Indian Students

Dear friends & family,
In just two weeks, our study abroad group will be boarding a plane for Delhi to spend two months in India and Nepal! One of our projects is to improve the lives of students by supporting their educational goals.
We are working with MPOWERD to bring portable solar lanterns that will enable students to study in the evenings, particularly in villages where electricity is unavailable or unreliable.
Our goal is to raise $2000 by February 5th, 2015 and bring the lanterns with us. We will be personally delivering them to the students and families in India.
We invite you to join us in this effort to support students around the world. Your gift of ten dollars allows us to bring one more lantern for an aspiring young student in Udaipur, India. Any amount you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated! All funds raised go directly to the purchase of the lanterns.
