Help me GIVE HOPE and supplies to the people in Mexico affected by the devastating earthquake.
People are hurting, and badly. Unfortunately, aide is not making it to the outskirts or Mexico City, which are the little towns that are in dire need of your help.
I will be travelling to Mexico City, October 3rd - 11th, to personally take truckloads of supplies directly to the people in affected areas. Trucks have already been coordinated – free or charge – from family and people waiting to help. I need as much money as possible to buy the supplies there. **ALL the money will be entirely for supplies** I will be covering my own expenses.
People are sleeping in the streets with NOTHING, so they literally need anything, most needed: blankets, personal hygiene items, tools and food!!!
Sadly, even during tragedies the government and people are taking advantage of the less fortunate and taking the supplies or reselling them, which is what got me to start this fund and to personally go there to deliver them, because if they are not handed directly to the people chances are they are not making to the right hands.

I have created an open Facebook event to share with you updates and keep me honest with the money. I will be sharing updates of the funds raised, receipts of purchases, and pictures/videos while in Mexico. I will be keeping an updated spreadsheet with all the donations and expenses and will be happy to share with anyone, at anytime.

ABOUT ME: My name is Yolanda Inchauregui, originally from Mexico City, living in San Diego. I am United States Iraq War Veteran and current Master’s student at University of San Diego.
