Gunargie met Paige near the Save on Meats in the DTES on December 12th.
20 yr old Paige was homeless just a few days ago and without a tent, dry clothes or any support. As an Indigenous youth she was taken by Child and Welfare from Saskatchewan to Vancouver and has been homeless ever since. She has never had a safe home.
Since Gunargie has posted Paige's story many have shown her the care she deserves. We were able to get her supportive housing.
Paige is grateful for the support she has received from community so far. Since she turned 18 she hasn't received any access to support that has helped her. We are creating this GoFund so that folks have a place to support Paige.
We know that supportive housing is just one step towards what Paige deserves. She will need ongoing help and funds to navigate this new path. The funds raised will go towards her new beginnings. We want to support Paige so that she has a chance!

- Support with getting an ID
- New wardrobe
- Healthy Food
- Bus fare to get to appointments such as dental and glasses appointments that she made need
- Other appointments as they come up
- Support for her Photography interests
