Give Lichi a Chance at Recovery and Hope

I Berhane Tsegay pleading help to my sister to the Medical Care she urgently needs.

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support in helping my little sister Lichi Tsegay, who is only 29 years old and a loving mother.

For the past two years, she has been battling a severe and complex medical condition that affects both her heart and brain, leading to progressive brain damage.

According to the Doctor, “The diagnosis is Carotid Body Tumor- it is a benign tumor that is in the tube of blood supply to the brain. This requires surgery, she is past the ablation stage given the length of time she has been symptomatic.”

Despite countless medical visits and treatments at home, her condition has worsened. Recently, she began experiencing severe complications, including her eyes being pulled inward, which has further alarmed her doctors. After exhausting all available options in our country, her doctors have now strongly recommended that she seek specialized treatment abroad at a more advanced medical facility.

This journey to receive the critical care she needs comes with overwhelming financial challenges. We are doing everything we can as a family, but we cannot do it alone. We are humbly asking for your generosity to help cover the costs of her travel, treatment, and hospitalization.
