Hello, my name is Yamila Chacón, and I am fundraising for Cristina Chaparro. Cristina is a wonderful woman, the mother of two beautiful children, and the wife of a faithful and hardworking family man.

Cristina was diagnosed with ovarian cancer about 1 year ago. Cancer treatments are very expensive and are not covered by her Health Insurance, therefore, the family had to cover the costs, leaving them financially strained after a long and painful set of treatments. Not long ago, Cristina was finally given remission, and it was time to celebrate! Just when she and her family started to see the light, she was diagnosed with cancer in her intestine. Cristina is a strong soul, full of faith, and she has the best attitude in the whole world! She is not willing to give up; she still wants to see her kids grow. Although the local doctors tell her she has no chance at survival, she deeply knows that for God nothing is impossible. Her family has found an opportunity to try alternative medicine therapy for cancer patients (It's the HOPE4CANCER clinic in Tijuana, Mexico); this is her last and only option at this point. The treatment she needs costs close to $50,000; and they have already exhausted all of their means in the previous treatments. Her husband has had to pause work to take care of Cristina and the bills keep piling up.
