Give Back to Noelle and Gary: Bonnie's Care

Hey friends! So if you don’t know my mom and step-dad (Noelle and Gary Lindner), they are the kind of folks who would do anything to help anyone. And if you do know this, you can vouch for it. I made a joke at the start of the pandemic when my mom hand-sewed dozens of masks for my team who were in hospitals that if I called her and asked for a spaceship, she’d be like, “let me check my craft room!” because that’s just who she is.

The other thing about them is that they love rescuing dogs. At one point, they had 5 rescues at one time. Sadly, right before Christmas, they had to say goodbye to their boy Turbo. Around this same time, I reached out to my mom for help because I was working to help rehome a dog that needed a better situation. The universe aligned and my mom and step-dad fell in love with her and ended up taking her home. Her name is Bonnie and she is the sweetest Cane Corso. Bonnie is significantly underweight and just needs TLC. That’s all we thought she needed, turns out that wasn’t the case. We were told she is spayed and up to date on shots, and that is actually not the case, which unfortunately puts my parents in a situation of having an enormous vet bill they weren’t anticipating. There is also an urgency to get this done, as Bonnie is almost 2 and the longer a dog waits for a spay, the more of a chance they could develop health issues

So, I’m hoping with how much they’ve given to their community and friends, maybe we can give a little back and help them with this unexpected cost and giving this dog the life she deserves.

Any little bit will help. I’ll be honest, they weren’t big on me doing this; they don’t like to ask for this kind of help. But I know how much they’ve done for others and I know our community will rally around them. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. From the bottom of my heart. ❤️
