Give Back For Rita

Season of Justice is an organization that played a crucial role in bringing justice to Rita Curran's cold case murder 52 years after her tragic death. Rita was a compassionate and caring second-grade teacher whose kindness and empathy impacted all those around her. Despite years of investigation, her case remained unsolved until advancements in DNA testing, genealogy research, and state-of-the-art DNA scrubbing procedures could be used on evidence collected 52 years ago. This was made possible by Season of Justice's generous donation to the Burlington Police Department to fund this advanced technology. We are grateful to Season of Justice for their tireless efforts and contribution to bringing justice to Rita and her loved ones.
