If you have ever known Abi, you’ve experienced a light and joy that are rare to find.

Abi’s life drastically changed in August of 2019 when she fell off a cliff and landed on both legs. Her legs likely saved her life — but at great cost.

Both legs were crushed, cartilage obliterated, and the bones in her right ankle and foot were shattered. The accident was so severe that the doctors considered amputating.

After multiple surgeries, dozens of rods, screws, and metal plates holding her bones together, Abi has been able to keep both legs, though not without pain and struggle.

3 years later, Abi has tackled handicapped life like a champ (are we surprised?), but it has been a long and increasingly painful journey. Unfortunately, her ankles are deteriorating, and with a 1 year old as energetic and playful as she is, Abi’s pain levels have become unsustainable.
