Give a leg up to some really great humans!

Hi! My name is Kat. And this is about my sweet friend Alice-Anne and her family. She’s going to feel guilty. She’s going to say she can’t. But trust me they can.

They have had a string of crappy luck over the past few years. Culminating in the last month of illness (covid and norovirus) a broken toe and a dead car.

Her husband has been out of work for over a year due to circumstances beyond their control. They are also trying to get a business off the ground. This business will help not for profits. Alice-Anne is a genius at non profit and can pull up more information on the what and how’s of non-profit than anyone I have ever met. The potential of the company is exponential. All of this though, has been a financial burden.

Anyway this brings us to this month. A month of illness, and injury (and a dead car). They asked a friend for help in reorganizing and purging their house. A task that was overwhelming to them with all the other things that were pulled on top. They asked for help, which was not easy. This plan was solid and agreed upon. In the end the help turned into hindrance and cost them $3000 that they do not have.

Alice-Anne means more to me that most humans on this planet. She is the kind of person who bends over backward to help her people in what ever way she can. She is kind, intelligent, funny and giving. She is a champion of her friends. Cheering their successes and comforting hardships. Both she and her husband are the kind of people you always want in your corner. And their daughter? Magic.

They need help. They are never going to ask for it. So I’m asking. Please if you can give a little. Give a lot? What ever you can. I want something good to come out of this mess. I want to give them a gift that can start their new year off on the right footing. They have been kicked enough they deserve to have some joy.
