Equipment for Girls Make Beats

Girls Make Beats is a nonprofit organization that empowers girls by expanding the female presence of music producers, DJs and audio engineers. Currently, women account for less than 5% of music producers and audio engineers.

Help us raise these statistics by providing our girls the opportunity to create, learn, and utilize skills that can develop into future careers in audio engineering and music production. Funds raised will go towards purchasing computers and the neccessary equipment needed for the learning workstations.  

We currently have 6 workstations consisting of a laptop, headphones, audio interface,  DJ and Music Production software and hardware. However, our program is in high demand and with your help we can double the amount of girls we can reach. Our goal is to work with 12 girls each semester, teaching a total of 48 girls each school year through our after school program at Studio Center Miami.
