Hello, everyone.
Every in-person service industry is struggling and the staff of Gilt Nail Bar is sharing in that struggle. Almost all wages for nail techs is commission-based, so when the coronavirus spread began, many of our staff found themselves without an income.
Though we stayed open as long as we could while adhering to the CDC guidelines and the regulations set by the city, we have had to close our doors for now. We know we are not alone in feeling torn on how best to support the hardworking staff that has shown care and attention to our clients over the past few years.
Some of our clients have expressed an interest in helping, as we all look for ways to keep small businesses and all working men and women afloat during this time.
All contributions to this fund will go directly to our staff. We appreciate any amount you can share, and we look forward to being able to thank you in person when we reopen in the future.
