Gideons Vet Bill

I have cat sit for Gideon many times and he is one of the sweetest cats i've had the pleasure to look after. My dear friend Alison told me that when she took him to the vet after he was showing he was in pain, that they've had to perform emergency surgery to remove a urinal blockage, costing around $3000.

Alison works a full time job, a 80 cents above minimum wage which means this unexpected vet bill is something she cannot afford alone. Especially after a recent hospital visit of her own which took her out of work with no financial compensation. And if you live in Toronto you will understand the added issues of the cost of living. All of this puts Alison and Gideon in an unstable financial position which is why I am asking for your help. Whether it's sharing or donating, anything is greatly appreciated in these circumstances.

At this point in time, Gideon the cat is still at the vet after his operation to remove the build up in his bladder and we are hoping for his full recovery but it's expected that he will be requiring prescription food in the future.
