Girls In Charge Transportation Van

Girls In Charge (GIC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit mentorship and scholarship organization with a goal to eliminate a feeling of hopelessness as a result of negative circumstances that have impacted the lives of young girls between the ages of 10 to 19 years old. GIC girls learn how to take charge of their lives through an assigned mentor, group activities that foster healthy friendships, and quality education.

The Girls In Charge (GIC) mentoring program is dedicated to helping young girls develop a deeper understanding of who they were created to be. We offer a variety of preventative programs and enrichment activities designed to build self-esteem, character, and leadership. GIC was designed for girls to form connections, support each other and develop strong, positive relationships.

In order to make this program a success, a method of transportation for our traveling needs would be most beneficial.

GIC would need 300 people to donate $100 to accomplish this necessity by allowing all the girls to go on volunteer outings that will help give back to the community. These outings include: field trips to feed the homeless, street & beach cleanups, and college tours in an effort to inspire them to pursue higher education, etc.
