Hello, I’m Michelle, a friend of the Tara’s and the Gibson Family. Reaching out to get some financial help in this time of need. Please donate to help while Tara is in recovery and getting the medical attention she needs right now.

Tara had a stroke this week and we have been in the hospital. Her husband Matt took her into the ER in Port Orange where they performed a CT scan, bloodwork, and MRI. The doctor saw 3 small mini-strokes in her cerebellum. The neurologist confirmed this and ordered a 2nd MRI where a 4th mini-stroke (blood clot) was found in her brain. She then was transported by ambulance to the Daytona hospital for a procedure to inspect her heart. There, they found a hole in her heart that allowed the blood clots to flow to her brain. The cardiologist just came back to consult and schedule the surgery to repair her heart to prevent this from happening again. She is also on medication to help her blood from forming clots. Tara is in physical therapy and round the clock care to help regain full range of motion.

Family is doing everything they can for her.

I have been visiting with Tara, she is in good spirits even going through all that she has! She is so strong. Stroke recovery isn’t easy and is unpredictable, could be long or short.
