Hi All,

Welcome to this year donation page for the St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh GAA Club fundraiser for Darkness into Light - Plunketts4Pieta2021; a 24hr walk/run/cycle challenge taking place next weekend 7th/8th May.

As we all know, fundraising has been very difficult for many charities over the last 14months throughout the Covid 19 pandemic. Any money donated to Pieta House using this page will have their donation generously matched by the AIB Together Fund meaning Pieta House will receive 100% of the funds you donate and then it will doubled.

Last year, we raised some amazing funds in a very short space of time and this year we have decided to set our members and the wider community a challenge that everyone can participate in! We want everyone to walk/run/cycle/swim next weekend and register it on the following Strava link to help us complete 3,200kms in 24hrs. 3,200kms represents the circumference of Ireland. So while we're still apart, we want everyone to help us virtually complete a lap of Ireland and raise funds in the process.

So whether you want to do 3kms or 33kms why not add yourself to a slot on our Google Sheet and commit to filling a 30/60mins slot during our 24hr window. All kms recorded in Strava will automatically go towards our total.

If you wish to donate but unsure how to use GoFundMe, we will also have buckets in the Clubhouse from 6-8pm Friday 7th May and 10am-6pm Saturday 8th May.
