Getting to Aus

Here goes…..

With a huge break in our hearts 14 weeks ago, we got the most shocking news that our dad, Goody had a high grade GBM tumor. It has been a hard time with an unknown road ahead.

Even though we are super positive and full of hope we really don’t know what the future holds and how much time we will be blessed with moving forward.

Benji has made a very difficult decision not to come over to Aus. With his new job and the quarantine time it just isn’t possible for him to be away at this time, but is hopeful that in the near future things may change.

Dom has applied for his visa and got an exemption!

With flights limited, costs grossly inflated and in high demand due to Australia’s strict Covid rules, trying to take advantage of the exemption is becoming very hard. Also, with quarantine costs and loss of earning to keep the family outgoing out of the red with a very pregnant Jess left at home, the impact is increasing with every added factor. The total cost is upwards of £15k.

The go fund me page is not the approach Dom is comfortable with and struggles to ask for assistance but with a nudge from us all, we are dragging him down this path!

We are asking with gratitude in our hearts for some help, any small donations would be gratefully received and appreciated.
