Get Maria back on a scooter

Our friendly Maria who works in the restaurant at DST House in Basildon unfortunately had her Peugeot scooter stolen on the 19 February.  Maria is extremely reliant on her scooter to get her from A to B and more importantly for her, to get to work each day.
To compound this issue, Maria's insurance company have confirmed that she will not be able to make a claim and although the theft has been reported to police, its highly unlikely they will recover the vehicle.
I'm sure we would all find it very difficult if the car/bike we relied so heavily on was taken away at a moments notice, so I have started this page to try and help her out, we want to get her road bound again and use all funds donated to put towards a new scooter.  We aim to raise £1,200 to help her purchase something both road worthy and reliable.  Maria is not aware of this page being created but I know she would be truly grateful for any help to get her on her way............ #dosomethingnicetoday
