TLDR:

Jill has - and I don't use this word lightly - miraculously clawed her way out of the jaws of death this summer. Against the expectations of every one of her medical providers, her body is at the point where she can safely plan to road trip to Denver, where she has concert tickets that she bought before her surgery as an inspiration for recovery.

We had no idea how far she would have to recover.

This recovery has taken every resource - and then some - that we have, but I think being able to make the trip would help give Jill hope that life can go on and that joy still exists.

Jill is a Brandi Carlisle super-fan. She treasures her place in the the "Bramily" (Brandi Carlisle fan family) and I'm pretty sure that Brandi's voice is necessary for her existence. I think if she had to give up food or Brandi, she would feed her soul in Brandi's voice alone and I credit the playing of the Brandi Carlisle playlist I created for her while she was sedated in the ICU for lighting her path back to life. I honestly don't know if she would have made it back without it.

I need help to get Jill to Red Rocks and remind her that life has joy and beauty. Because of her health status, the trip is going to be far more expensive than it would have been otherwise, and we have absolutely no "fun money."

Please help me get Jill to the place where Brandi's voice can help light Jill's path to the future.
