Get Daniel to Brazil for his baby

As many of you know, my little brother Daniel and his new wife Clara got an unexpected surprise this year. 
They are having a baby! 
This is obviously very exciting news, but it was completely unplanned. Unfortunately, Clara is not a resident of Canada. This has put them both in quite a difficult position, as she is not covered under Canadian medical. 
They got married right away, and tried everything they could to get her immigration paperwork to come through before baby gets here. But, sadly the paperwork has taken too long. 
For this reason Clara must fly home to Brazil for their baby to be born there. There is only private medical coverage in Brazil, so having the baby there will be costly as well, but not as high as in Canada.
The problem is that a lot of money has been spent already on flights back and forth from brazil/legal fees and lost wages. This means that Daniel cannot afford to take more time off work or pay for his own flight to Brazil to be there for the birth of his first child.
As his sister, I speak for everyone in my family, that this is completely heart breaking. 
And as the hard working person that he is, he isn't the type to ask anyone for money. But I know that he would be forever greatful for any amount of help that could be sent his way!
Extraordinary circumstances are very humbling, and sometimes people just need a bit of help along the way. 
I think this is one of those times.
