Gerry Pears Memorial Broda Chair

My beloved husband Gerry passed away on Saturday February 18/2017 after a courageous two and a half year battle with brain cancer. During the end of his journey he was fortunate enough to spend his last two months at the Southwood Hospice, where he received outstanding care. While there, Gerry spent quite a bit of time in a Broda chair (a wheel chair like seat intended to provide more support to those with little to no mobility). The Broda chair gave Gerry so much pleasure as he enjoyed daily walks, where I would push him onto the balcony to enjoy some sunshine and a beautiful mountain view. So, in lieu of flowers, I would love donations to be made so we could purchase another one or two of these fabulous chairs for the Southwood Hospice so other families like ours could it enjoy it with their loved ones.
