Gerry Rooney&John Cahill Marathon

Both of us (Gerry Rooney & John Cahill) started training for the Dublin City Marathon one year ago, with two clear goals in both our minds. Those goals were to 1) be able to complete our very first full Marathon after a years strenuous training and 2) most importantly to raise much needed funds for two very important causes - St. Francis Hospice and Ballyboughal GFC. 

St Francis Hospice do an unbelievable and difficult job at supporting the most vulnerable stage of life and really do need all the funding they receive.

As managers of various teams in Ballyboughal GFC - the need for the new pitch is vital to continue the development of the juvenile , ladies and men's football teams.

All funds raised by us will be given directly to both these great causes.
