Gerri's Respite Care Fund

Gerri will turn 70 January 1st! She has spent many of those years caring for her family, and has been the primary caregiver for Marv as necessary.  Over the last year, it has become increasingly difficult for Marv to get around, making it more difficult to leave the house. Because of this, we want to be sure that Gerri is taking care of herself and giving herself the rest that she needs!  We are encouraging her to try to get away at least two times this year. In order to do that, we feel it's best for Marv to have  skilled care at least part-time while she's away.  The $3,840 goal would cover 8 full days of round the clock care. That money may stretch farther depending on the amount of time each day they decide it is necessary to have a skilled caregiver present.  While they may decide 24hr care is unnecessary, we want Gerri to be able to rest knowing that Marv is well cared for.
