Mijn naam is Gerke Hoogland en ik zamel geld in voor mijn droomproject. Twee jaar geleden heb ik een stuk land gekocht in zuidwest Portugal. Dit noemt gerkeland. De plek waar ik woon. De plek die ik deel met familie, vrienden en reizigers. En de basis voor mijn holistische gezondheidspraktijk. Dat wordt omringd door natuur en permacultuur.

Volgend jaar (lente 2023) gaat het land open in de vorm van een kleine camping. Een aantal luxe tenten. En een plek waar mensen hun camper kunnen aanleggen. Daarnaast is het de bedoeling om workshops en retreats te organiseren. Om te leren over permacultuur. Over ecologisch bouwen. Over holistische gezondheid. Praktisch en geaard. En ook waar jongeren van een time-out of vakantie kunnen genieten. Een plek vol inspiratie en creatie voor jong en oud. Alleen en in groepen. Een mix van levenspaden. Die elkaar hier begroeten en omarmen.
Om deze dromen om te zetten is veel werk benodigd. En geld. Help je mee?

My name is Gerke Hoogland and I am raising money for my dream project. Two years ago I bought a piece of land in southwest Portugal. This is called gerkeland. The place where I live. Next year (spring 2023) the land will open in the form of a small campsite. A number of luxury tents. And a place where people can set their camper.
