I am writing you today to ask you for your help while my immediate and extended family go through the heartache of losing a loved one to a senseless shooting. Any donation that you can afford will be greatly appreciated and will help a devastated family in need.
On June 26th my wife's brother, Gene Feliciano, was shot and killed while running some errands. What started out as a typical day for most of us, ended in the unimaginable loss of a man that was cherished by everyone that knew him. We all have loved ones that run errands, but could never imagine them running to the gas station and never ever coming back. "Honey, running to get some gas, be back soon".
Gene was a father of 4 and probably one of the most giving people that I have ever met. Their are no words to describe the sadness of his parents, his wife, his children, his siblings, and his friends. While Gene would give the guy begging on the corner the shirt off of his back, he also lived on his own means at the small farm that he diligently maintained. His death leaves not only a gaping hole in everyone's hearts, it leaves his family without his financial contributions which causes them even more stress as they try to figure out their future without him.
Any and all money raised will go the Gene's wife, Flor, to be used for funeral and life transition expenses.
Again, every little bit helps... I know that most of you didn't know Gene, or his wife and kids, but just think if your "world" went to the store and was taken from you forever.
