Gaines & Teri

2023 was a challenging year for Teri in terms of her health. Gaines made the decision in September to resign his position at work and stay home to take care of her. In November, an event that led them to the hospital turned in to Teri being diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. After spending some time in November and December talking over the options, Teri has decided against aggressive treatments and a liver transplant. As of January 2024, Teri was admitted in to hospice care and is visited a few times a week.

All of that being said, since resigning his position Gaines and Teri have been living off their savings. As we all know with cost of living the way that it is right now, living off savings will not be an option much longer. In hopes of spending every moment possible together, I'm reaching out for your help. Anything raised on whichever platform you choose will go straight to both of them in hopes we can keep Gaines at home by Teri's side for as long as possible.
