Gabe's medical needs

Meet sweet Gabriel, or Gabe as he is also called. He is a handsome 3 to 4 year old lab mix that is in need of some special help. He was born, from what we were told, with a deformed front left paw. On top of this he is Heartworm positive, currently being treated for.

It is recommended that his whole leg be amputated, this is where we need the help from everyone that can help. While his surgery is not ungodly expensive it will be the after care and all the things in between that add up.

We would also love to find a foster home where he can be by himself during his recovery. He is a tad bit over weight so it will be hard for him to get around starting out. So if needed we would like to get him a wheelchair or harness that will help us in letting him learn to compensate only having 3 legs.
