My New Horn

My name is Andrea Rivera and I am 17 years old.  I am a high school senior getting ready to graduate in May 2016. I have been accepted to The University of Louisiana at Laffayete as a music performance major and that is all I have ever wanted to do.  I have a 28 on my ACT and have most of my college paid for. I play the Horn and love it so much.  However, I have never owned my own instrument. I have always been able to use one from the public schools I've attended but I'm afraid that with the major I wish to pursue, I am going to need my own horn for the first time. I have gotten a part time job and have been saving little by little for a horn, but most of my paycheck goes towards my car payments (insurance, car note, maintenance, etc). Any money raised here will go towards a new horn that I need. I start college in the fall but I will probably have to return my loaned horn at the beginning of May when I finish high school. I do not have much time to find this money and I need help. I am also afraid that if I cannot find this money that I will be forced to change my major in college and ultimately not get to do what I love for the rest of my life. Not many people get the privilege of doing so in the first place. I have no real "plan B" for college that I would be happy with either. It would mean everything to me to buy a new horn.
