Charity Walk - Stand In The G.A.P, Uganda

Humanitas' Charity Walk to raise money for a cause close to our heart - Stand In The G.A.P Orphanage in Uganda. Last month, we provided the funds for 6 months rent in a bigger building. This month, the money we raise will help towards buying new beds in their new home, along with new clothes and toys.

For every £1 raised - Humanitas will match this. 

Not only will we be raising money for a wonderful cause, but it also encourages us, at Humanitas, to get up and out for our daily walks which I'm sure we can all agree is needed with remote working.

On a monthly basis, Sister Evace shares pictures with us over Whatsapp and these will be shared with employees in our Whatsapp group. 

From Monday, July 13, we're encouraging you all to get your steps in! It's up to you whether you track your steps - a great app for this is 'Map My Run' where you can track how far you walk and at what pace. Alternatively, there is the health app on Iphones which shares the number of steps walked within the day, week and month.

Why not take a walk during the morning meetings instead of sitting at your desk? We know we will. :)
