Empowering Her Mentor Foundation

Empowering Queens began as an idea in 2013 but was officially founded in 2015, but I'Asia Gee. Due to life altering experiences I'Asia faced; when she enrolled in Farleigh Dickinson University she decided it best to surround herself with a group of motivated and liberated women, her sorority Phi Sigma Sigma. From there I'Asia realized she had a passion to make a lasting impact in underprivileged communities.
Empowering Queens was created as a means to guide young women on a path to transform them into confident leaders in their communities, as well as others. This stems from the organization's core values; leadership, self-esteem, and self-expression. Through positive mentoring and encouragement, Empowering Queens hopes to create female leaders, equipped with knowledge in global and localized women's issues, so they can make a lasting change. While the organization's initial efforts will be in New Jersey, hopefully as it grows Empowering Queen will expand.
