Revive Vizag

I am a permanent resident of United States living in Atlanta.  Let me start by saying that by gods grace I have a decent job and am happily married and settled in US.  Recently in October 2014, cyclone Hudhud struck my city Visakhapatnam in India and caused a great damage to the city's infrastructure and greenery. I am heartbroken and sad and am unable to personally visit my city to serve the people there. Nevertheless, I wish to do my part and have decided to raise fund by myself and I need your support. The aim of my charity fundraising campaign is to send a message across "Rise up and beyond when disaster strikes". Vizag (in short for Visakhapatnam) was one of the few greenest cities in India and today I heard it has been destroyed by the worst cyclone that ever hit the city in the last few decades.. I want to reach out to you all to help me raise fund for my city. I wish to use the money to rebuild the school I studied in, the college I graduated from and the beach where I found peace and happiness.

I know there are many like me who would want to do something for the city. You can make a Difference, so why dont you join me? For once, forget what you can get and see what you can give for giving is the best therapy.
