On the 25th day of March in 1996, our family was blessed by our first baby girl, Elizabeth Alexandra Caswell. A little dark haired girl who loved to dance and jump, and play. She grew up to become a young gymnast and dancer through elementary and middle school. Libby attracted attention everywhere she went. After beginning the 9th grade at Chrisman high school she made varsity cheerleader, she loved the attention being a cheerleader was bringing to her, especially with the boys. There was one boy in particular that stuck out to her, a varsity football player at the time, his name is Devon Martin. They started hanging out more and more, skipping class, and just being kids, he had a ton of family issues and struggled to stay in school. Then Libby became pregnant, that’s where things changed for the worse. After she became pregnant, Devon stopped coming around throughout her pregnancy. He started showing his true colors, from missing every doctor appointment, to disappearing before the baby shower. Devon was also absent for the birth of their son, Alexavier, due to alcohol and drug abuse, and missed the next 3 years of Xavier’s life, including every one of his birthdays. In December of 2016, we found out Devon had proposed to her and promised a better life for their family. They both started to save their money, they were able to buy a car. We all hoped this would be a turning point...but we were wrong. A few months after they got engaged and seemed to be doing good, and this was two days before Xavier’s birthday, also, the day rent was due, he changed her account password, drained all the money out of the account and took the car to run away with a girl from work. Of course, that girl left him and he ended up back in jail. Libby was devasted. That is when she had enough and wanted to get her life together for her and her son. She continued to work and got a roommate to split the bills. She saved her money to get herself another car and life was going good. Devon got out of jail broke into her apartment to steal her things and started harassing her. She said she feared for her life and that he had stolen drugs from some bad people that were out to get her because he blamed her for the theft. Soon she was evicted for all the trouble he was causing her there. They were on the streets for a while, Devon continued to rob people and ran away when some men found them and had guns on them demanding their money back. Devon ran off and left Libby at gunpoint to fend for herself after blaming it all on her again. They ended up with Devon’s family. We kept trying to get her to move back home but she feared for our safety and Xavier too. I decided I would exercise tough love on her and contacted children’s services. They urged her to get the help she needed to be free of him and the abuse. she started working on that right away and went to every class they provided so she could be in Xavier’s life. We were so happy for her but we knew Devon was still in her life. She wanted him to get help too. By November 2017 She was having regular visits with Xavier, all of her random drug tests were negative. Devon and Libby were staying with his stepdad when she came for a visit at our house on a Monday she seemed very upset and shaking, this was only days before she would lose her life. The family transformations counselor was there so I went to the store and when I came home the counselor was trying to find her a place to stay because Libby told her Devon choked her to unconsciousness. She woke up after his stepdad was pulling him off her. She said he told her he will kill her. She tried to stay with a friend or two after that, But Devon threatened everyone of her friends, she told everyone her life was in danger and anyone she stayed with would be in danger. They ended up at the stadium inn on 40 highway. On December 11th 2017, 2 officers from independence came to our door to tell us our daughter was deceased, that she hung herself in the bathroom at the stadium inn. The last person to see her alive was Devon Martin. He left the scene {driving Libby’s car} he left the room completely destroyed, the tv blaring and all the lights off. locked the door behind him, told a man in the parking lot that his wife killed herself and he needed him to call 911, that witness told police there was another man in the car with him at that time, Devon claimed he was alone at that time. The coroners report says manner of death is {unknown manner of asphyxiation}. After reading autopsy reports and police reports and coroners report we realized none of Devon’s story matched those reports. We believe he choked her to death during an argument and then staged that scene to look like suicide and we believe his friend and possibly his step dad helped him cover up what truly happened to her in that room that day. One witness heard her begging for her life and heard her being hit. Her life matters she deserves justice and someone knows the truth about what really happened to her that night. There were witnesses at the motel and other people in that room with Libby and Devon, its in the police reports. Please come forward with any information that can help us get justice for Libby.

We have some very exciting news to share with all of you. We were contacted by a strangulation expert who had heard about Libby’s case. During our time off we sent him over the crime scene photos for him to review to see if he thought we had a case of strangulation or if he thought it was suicide. After a stressful wait he got back to us. We most certainly have a strangulation case!!!! He was able to tell us things that even the M.E. had missed!! This is were we have to come to you, our followers, and ask for some help. The retainer fee for the specialist is $11,000. We are going to be opening a go fund me account for Libby so we can have this team of specialists start working for us ASAP! They will be contacting the ipd and the D.A. We need everyone’s help in this!!!! Let’s do this for Libby and get her the Justice she deserves!
