Hailey needs your help!

My sister Hailey needs your help to enable her to go on a long awaited holiday.

Hailey is 37 years old and has severe Cerebral Palsy. Hailey has been STUCK at her home for EIGHT weeks due to her wheelchair breaking twice. She receives funding from the NDIS to support her with her day to day life and her access to the community but for a long time, the NDIS has let her down! (If you or someone you know access's or needs to access NDIS I am sure you understand)

EIGHT WEEKS being stuck at home has been extremely detrimental to Hailey's wellbeing, physical and mental health. Hailey doesnt have a spare wheelchair or any other way to leave the house. This is NOT good enough. Hailey's mental health is suffering and she is experiencing dark thoughts and as her sister, seeing her like this is absolutely devastating and heart breaking.

The only thing keeping her spirits high was that she was going to have a 5 day holiday with her favourite carer...but in true NDIS form, something changed in their policies and the holiday can now no longer go ahead.

As Hailey's family we are devastated for her. We dont have the financial means to pay for Hailey to have a support worker/carer to take her on a holiday as the total costs will be more than $10k.

I am hoping that you, the every day people of the world who may know Hailey, myself, our family or just want to help someone in need can rally behind this cause and help us to make her dream come true.

I feel so helpless and have no control over the madness and mind field that is the NDIS and so this is all I can do for my favourite person, my sister, my hero.

Please help me help her!
