Friends Of Ysgol Y Borth Raft Race

We are a group of parents whos children attend Ysgol Y Borth; together we form the parents committee. We volunteer our time to plan, arrange and create fun events and opportunities for the children to take part in. Some examples of events we have arranged are: movie nights, summer fairs, bingo, disco and themed fashion shows. 
As a committee we have decided to compete in the annual Raft Race that takes place on the Menai Straits. The Great Strait Raft Race is a competition which sees teams of locals board DIY built rafts and attempt to sails/navigate themselves safely down the Straits from the old slate port of Felinheli, past historic Plas Newydd and on towards Menai Bridge.

We are asking you to sponsor us on our journey down the treacherous Menai Straits! Your donation will be spent on new playground equipment; we would like to use the money we raise to buy brand new playground structures for both the current and future pupils of Ysgol Y Borth to enjoy.  However, as good playground equipment is expensive, we need your help!

We as a committee would be hugely grateful for any donation that you can give us- every little helps towards our target! The most important thing to us is that we are able to provide the children with a new and updated playground to explore and enjoy!
